Jellinghaus Torres 77 PU Maple Swiss Moon Spruce

These Jellinghaus guitars immediately stand out because they are a stroke smaller than we normally see them, with a shorter scale of 24". After that first impression, the real surprise lies in how this classical guitar sounds and plays, because that is, in one word, stunning. We hear nice deep lows, clear highs and an incredibly large and complex volume.

Jellinghaus got the inspiration for these guitars from the Modelo 77 that Antonio Torres built in 1884 for the Cano family. That wealthy family ensured that these sublime instruments from the master builder ended up in the hands of the best guitarists of the time, such as Tarrega. Most Torres guitars are now museum pieces.

This Jellinghaus La Torres 77 is not a slavish copy, but a beautiful modern interpretation, which you can not only admire but above all: play. The top is made of spruce and the sides and back of maple. The guitar comes in a hardshell case.
